Drugs in Adolescence

Today it is too easy for teenagers to be in contact with drugs. This facility is associated with the social environment in which people live, with peer pressure and the absence of parents (which makes teens feel free and don't think about the consequences that the consumption can bring to them in the future).
Also, at this stage of life that people create their personality, is a stage full of changes, not only physical but also psychological. It is a stage full of problems which make young people seek an outlet in drugs.
The peer pressure is also a major factor that leads to the onset of drug use, because there is a fear of being excluded from the group, be left aside.
Drugs can cause physical and psychological harm to consumers. Their constant use can create dependency and behavioral change.
The health problems caused by drug use are numerous and can accompany young people during their life.
There are several factors that are possible indicators of drug use by young people as a drop in school performance, learning disabilities, behavioral changes, the smell of tobacco or alcohol, being away from the family, violent behavior...
We must remain alert to these behaviors and be available to help these adolescents face their problems and find the right path in life.
